President Yoweri Museveni has finally broken his silence on Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential flag bearer Dr Kizza Besigye’s visit to Abim Hospital.
Mr Museveni who is the National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential candidate described Dr Besigye as unserious and the December 5 visit as propagandized.
According to Mr Museveni, if Dr. Besigye, was honest or serious, should have visited the three Health Centre IIIs in Abim; Rwogom in Nyakwai Sub-County, Alerek in Alerek Sub-County and Orwamuge in Notuke Sub-County.
“It is these that have carried out the successful immunization programmes for the majority of the 13 diseases; polio, whooping cough, tetanus, measles, tuberculosis, diphtheria, influenza, Pneumonia/Meningitis, Hepatitis B, diarrhea, cervical cancer, mumps and German measles,” he said.
