When will my father get his pension?

My father, Mr Francis Tumwiine, a retired secondary school head teacher, has hasn’t received his pension for 11 months now.

Since April last year, I have been moving up and down in room 78 and 89 at the Ministry of Public Service but all I get is promises that he will be included on next month payroll.

When I visited the data centre under the same ministry in December, I found that his name had been deleted from the payroll, I was advised by the officer in room 78 to apply to the Permanent Secretary through the CAO Bushenyi district for him to be reinstated on the payroll, we did so and we were promised that his name would appear on the January payroll.

When the payroll came out the name was again missing. A woman in room 89 advised us to go to the ministry of Education to get a confirmation letter showing that he retired, which we did and the letter was handed over to room 65. They promised that his name would appear on the February payroll. When I went there yesterday, I found the name is missing again, the lady in room 89 told me that it will appear on March payroll.

I call upon the powers that be intervene and help our senior citizens so that they can enjoy the evening of their lives.
