Kampala. “Busungu” is a Luganda word that can be loosely translated as anger. And like his stage moniker Busungu; Davis Nsubuga is an angry man. Reason for this is the fact that motor-mouthed kick boxer Moses Golola is regarded as the best kickboxer in the middleweight category in Uganda.
While he insists that Golola deserves credit for making the game popular he is adamant that he is the best kickboxer in the country at least going by a recent press conference he called recently. Nsubuga who claims to be 35 years and one of the pioneer fighters of the sport in the country says Golola has for the last seven years refused to fight him but finally agreed to a fight on Christmas Day at Lugoba ground.
He was backed by a boisterous crowd at the press conference that featured neither a member from Golola’s camp nor a representative from the Hassan Ssekirime led kickboxing federation. At score we wish both fighter the best of luck should the fight happen.
