The problem
Dear Heart to Heart, recently my girlfriend of three years returned to her mother’s place. We have been communicating but have not met in three weeks, so I suspect something is amiss. I asked my friend to call her and on loud speaker and she said: “Sam is a good man but I do not see him as serious; he has no house, he is still a student yet I want is to live together. I love Sam but I need a man who can take care of me. I got someone, we have gone for a blood test and are planning to go back for another test.” She continued, “Don’t tell Sam about this conversation because I do not want to lose him”. I heard everything and just burst out and cried. I loved her and was planning to open up a salon business for her. What should I do? Is it time to terminate this relationship? Can I tell her about the phone call and whatever she said? Please help me out.
