KAMPALA.

After keeping the bookmakers and opponents guessing, Musa Ssekiliba has now opted to start his road to the Nile Special National Pool Open finale this weekend.

Tonight, at Natete Shopping Mall, Ssekiliba will be one of the expected 32 players that will vie for four slots at the preliminary round.

“I had a few problems that I needed to sort first,” Ssekiliba told this paper. “I am now ready to fight for a spot in Lugogo,” he said.

Last year, while playing as a national seed nine, Ssekiliba, 2014 Open quarter finalist, won the qualifiers at 2015 Orange County regional champion but he has opted for the nearby spot.
The CKI club player Ssekiliba is not the only top player in action this weekend. Muggies Bar in Kitintale will host Nakawa Pool Rangers and Betway Anchors club players tonight as well.
Dinno Kayongo, the 2009 Open semi-finalist will be in action at DB9 Bar in Kalerwe tomorrow.

Perennial regional champions Edward Byarugaba and Emmanuel Ocitti are expected to take part at Royal Confort in Kabale.
